Getting Started with AI Assistant

Company AI understands your entire document collection and can answer questions, provide insights, and help you find information quickly - all using natural language.

How to Use Company AI

  1. Navigate to Company AI in the sidebar
  2. You'll see a chat interface - start typing your question
  3. Press Enter or click Send
  4. Get instant answers with source citations

Source Citations

Every answer from Company AI includes source citations, showing exactly which documents were used:

  • Source Numbers: References like [Source 1], [Source 2] appear in the answer
  • Clickable Links: Click on any source to view the original document
  • Relevance Scores: See percentage scores showing how relevant each source is to your question
  • File Names: View which specific documents were used to generate the answer
  • Verification: Always check source documents to verify important information

Example Response: When you ask "What are the top vendors?", Company AI will list vendors with amounts, cite sources like [Source 1, Source 3], and provide clickable links to the original invoice documents.

Conversation History

Company AI remembers your conversation context, making follow-up questions easy:

Best Practices

Use Natural Language: You don't need special syntax. Just ask naturally like "What are the top vendors?" or "Show me invoices from Vendor ABC"
